Morning Sickness Remedies

It's horrible, It's sad, It's terrible, It's Tiring BUT It's Inevitable..................

Morning Sickness    DUN DUN DUHHHNNNNNN (my sound words for dramatic effects, you know you loved it)

Morning sickness is something that all pregnant women, or at least all normal pregnant, women will experience. Now there are those rare women that we all love to hate whom will have nine glorious months of pregnancy without ever getting queasy or feeling like their going to be sick, But lets Face It Honey Those Chicks Are One in A Million. I for one am not one of the lucky ones. '

I have had morning, afternoon, and evening sickness all 17 weeks of pregnancy so far. I am so sick of it! (no pun intended ;). But really what is a girl  to do?

Well I'm glad you asked. Although morning sickness is inevitable sometimes there are some things that can be done to prevent it.

Here are my Top 5 Morning Sickness Remedies:

1) Just Play Hooky!
Sometimes you can get nauseous just by overworking yourself. It okay to take a sick day every no and again and it will very well make you feel so much better in the end.

2) Drink a lot of water!
I Know I know your already going to the bathroom five times an hour and it can get really tiring. Why drink more water when you'll have to be running to the bathroom even more. But studies show that the more hydrated you are the less nauseous you will be. Also water helps with stretch marks and skin car!! SO Drink Up.

3) Natural Smells
It is often smells that can trigger nausea; perfume, cologne, orders, garbage etc. There are some smells that help with your upset tummy. Lemon is a one of the best kind of smells to settle your stomach during pregnancy. Keep lemon candy or fresh lemon juice in your purse and when you get nauseous just pull it out and whiff away.

4) GINGER!!!!
EVERY PREGNANT WOMEN SWEARS BY GINGER. Ginger Ale, ginger drops, ginger tea, anything ginger is known to help with nausea. You may remember your mother giving you ginger ale when you were younger and feeling sick to your stomach. I know I do and it always seemed to help.

5) Snacking frequently.
Maybe before you were pregnant you could eat the normal breakfast, lunch, and dinner but now you are pregnant and eating for two. You get hungry more often and your baby will not hesitate to eat whatever is in your belly. If there's nothing in your belly your baby will feed on the lining of your stomach. Disgusting! I know! BUT UNFORTUNATLEY IT HAPPENS. This can cause you to get really sick to your stomach. So Snack Snack Snack! Dry foods are good; breads, crackers, popcorn. They will keep you full faster and help you feel better in the long run.

So ladies I hope that you have a little more knowledge under your belt. If there is anything else you know of that can help fellow mommies with there nausea don't hesitate to comment below.

Until Next time.. Love you all
