SO THIS HAPPENED SUNDAY..........

I finally Married the love of my life!

It was the craziest, most exciting, most nerve recking day of my life. BUT I would do it all over in a heartbeat.

The day before my wedding someone gave me some amazing advice.
She said "Make sure you take a moment to look around you to just take it all in."

So many people get married and forget to enjoy the wedding. The day in itself is so hectic and busy. There is a million things going on; the florist wants to know where to put the flowers, the photographer wants to know where to set up, the caterer wants to get paid, the hairstylist is begging you to sit still while the makeup artist needs you to hold your head a certain way so he doesn't smear eyeliner down your face. The whole day can make you feel that you are part of a circus. So it is important to take a minute and look around you and remember it is the day your marrying the love of your life.

I had that moment a few times, One time right before I walked down the isle and again during our first dance. The truth is my wedding day was magical. It was everything I hoped and dreamed for. We were about 100 people short of how many were suppose to come but I feel like everyone that was suppose to be there was there. It was a Beautiful day and for the rest of my life I will never forget it.

This post is dedicated to the love of my life, William Washington.

Racist UpRoar in Oklahoma

The controversy in Oklahoma about the SAE Fraternity has spread nationwide. The video they made discriminating against African Americans has gone viral on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and so many other social media sites. CNN, ABC, KOCO, as well as many popular talk shows are talking about it.

Te video captured the Oklahoma University SAE Frat singing a song about how they would never befriend a "nigger". The Nation is calling it a deeply racist song. It was both offensive and frightening.

The ignorance of these men in the video is at an all time high. It is shocking that they would have such a song after the struggle our nation has gone through to outlaw discrimination. The United states has gone to war and many people have lost their lives and lost loved ones in order to be treated equally. It is almost as if the Frat was not even aware of the history.

“There will never be a nigger at SAE,” the students sang to the tune of “If You're Happy and You Know It” while dressed in formal attire and riding a bus. “You can hang him from a tree, but he'll never sign with me. There will never be a nigger at SAE.”

The University president has severed all ties with the SAE frat calling them "disgraceful". All of the frat residents were forced to vacate the house and leave campus. The University of Oklahoma is looking to explore legal actions.

This whole situation has me thinking that I will definitely train my son to be a better citizen. He will know our countries history and respect people of all race and color. I think more parents should train their children better so that we have a more accepting nation. Then and only then will we be able to call ourselves the nation of Liberty.

Things No One Tells You About Pregnancy

As you all know I am Pregnant.

About 5 months exactly now.

So their are many things and changes that my body is going through.............................

CHANGES THAT NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT.

Before I got pregnant I thought it was very different. Weird cravings, a wonderful glow, eating whatever you want, getting lots of presents for you and your baby, and BAM! nine months later out pops your wittle skittle.............Right? NO WRONG!

So Don't be alarmed but Here are a few things you will experience that no one will ever tell you about: (P.S beware this is graphic)

1) Dry Skin:
Your little bundle of joy is taking, Not Just all your nutrients but also the majority of water in your body. SO Guess what? Your skin will dry out, and in the weirdest places. My places are my face and my hands.
So while everyone of my other pregnant friends has a lovely glow, I have a Lovely Peel. Because Also my dry skin is peeling.

2)Your Bathroom Schedule
Of course everyone knows when your pregnant you pee a lot throughout the day. But what about at night? I wake up about 6 times at time to use the bathroom. So I get about 20 minutes of sleep in all those eight hours. It is just peachy when I have school and work the next day.

3) Ligaments Stretching
So in your body there are these things called ligaments. They are lovely because they keep your muscles and bones connected to one another. Ligaments are soft tissues. Well when you are pregnant your ligaments stretch so that your body will have room for the baby. As your uterus and your baby grow your muscles and organs separate to either side of your body tearing your ligament in the process. The best way I can describe the Oh SO Lovely feeling to you is like this: Just imagine someone sticks their hand inside your stomach and stretches it out as far as possible. Only instead of doing it quickly it takes them nine months to complete the process.

4)Gas
That's right I went there. Ladies when you have a baby you will fart at any given time and most of the time you will not know its coming. When it first happen to me I was standing in the checkout line at Walmart.
PLEASE ALLOW ME TO RANT FOR A SECOND
Why is it that Walmart is the biggest store in the world and usually has at least 25 checkout lanes but only 3 cashiers? Can I Get An Amen!!?? Someone please explain this to me. Does every employee take their break at the same time. I Don't Understand.

So there I was in the line at Walmart with a thousand people standing around me and I let out a biggo toot. Yea My life was over at that point. I literally died where I was standing.

Now there are many other things I have experienced as a pregnant women. More things that no one told me about but I don't want to completely discourage you from having a baby. It is also a beautiful experience. Feeling the baby kick for the first time was probably my ultimate favorite life experience so far. So in the end it will all be worth it I know . But I want to make all my fellow pregnant ladies aware of what your getting into.

Now you can walk away a little more educated. If there is anything that you are experiencing or that you went through when you were pregnant that was surprising to you because no one told you about it, please comment below I'd love to hear from you.
